When a personal issue completely sideswiped me, it came out of nowhere. It was major, it was unexpected, and it knocked the ground out from under me.

Holding myself together was hard enough, let alone staying focused at work. As ever, we had a huge volume of contracts coming through and a lot to deliver. But this issue, shook me to my core.

We all think these things happen to other people. Until they happen to us. And when it did, I was completely destabilised.

In that moment, I knew exactly where to turn.

I began looking after myself in every sense - physically, mentally, emotionally - and felt more connected than ever to my own confidence and self-worth.

The lessons I learned during that time will stay with me for life.

And the best part? My business is now stronger and more profitable than it’s ever been. The personal issue that once derailed me? Resolved in a way that I could never imagine!
